A CHRISTIAN’S ENCOUNTER WITH JUDAISM
Typically a weekend scholar-in-residence program geared to churches in communities with little Jewish exposure, but can be adapted to a one-day program.
Events typically include: diagnostics with minister for desired points of emphasis/hot buttons, coffee/discussion with vestry, curriculum workshop with faculty, adult/children Sunday school (usually “Jewish Show and Tell”), sermon/keynote, “Nothing’s Off Limits” Q&A after services, meeting(s) with youth group and other participants, debriefing meeting with minister, recommended follow-up. Programs are tailored to meet specific congregational needs/interests.
